Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and meet new people. There are many volunteer-run organizations within the City, with several listed on the Community Directory page. From time to time, the City will also organize volunteer services.

Library
The Meadow Lake Library is looking for a volunteer for the local Library Board! For more details, contact (306) 236-5396.
The Board meets 7 times a year and sets direction for the Library operations. The Library Board is a group of community members. The Trustees form an administrative body that focuses on governance and advocacy. For example, the Board approves the Library’s yearly operating budget, applies for capital grants, and promotes fundraising events for library programs. The Trustees are responsible for attending board meetings at the Library. Trustees vote on matters relating to finance, and they connect the Library to the community it serves. Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings, but only board members can vote.
